The blizzard of '96 left them all stranded at the same hotel in Allentown, Pa., Sunday night, creating a surreal summit of popular culture."I think I'm going to write a book: `Trapped in Allentown,"' said O'Neal the 7-foot-1 center for the Orlando Magic.
"Remember the bar scene from `Star Wars' with all the animals? That's what it looked like," added Magic backup center Jon Koncak. "It was like the twilight zone . . . a bunch of basketball players, Sesame Street and some guy with green hair."
The Magic, who were detoured to Allentown before Monday's game with the Philadelphia 76ers was postponed, made it back to Orlando to defeat the New Jersey Nets Tuesday night.
