The Utah Grizzlies will take to the road tonight to complete their stretched-out, three-game mini-series against the Las Vegas Thunder at the Thomas & Mack Center.

It's the third game in a row that the Grizz will face the Thunder, though the first meeting was 13 days ago. Utah beat Las Vegas 5-1 this past Monday at the Delta Center for the first time in four tries this season. In Monday's meeting between the two, Utah's Andrey Vasiljev returned from the New York Islanders to tally three goals and an assist.

The Thunder improved to 30-8-5 with a win against Minnesota on Tuesday to increase their lead in the IHL Southwest Division over the Grizz to nine points. Utah, which has played three fewer games than Las Vegas, stands in second at 27-11-2.

Winger Todd Simon leads the high-powered Thunder offense with an IHL-high 67 points (24 goals, 43 assists).

Utah added defenseman Bob Halkidis to its roster this week. He was traded from the Chicago Blackhawks for future considerations.
