Our beloved husband, father, son and brother, Scott C. Peterson, age 27, died October 6, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah after a valiant battle with cancer.

He was born July 22, 1969 in Provo, Utah, a son of Clifton Kay and Gaylene Moosman Peterson. Scott graduated from Wayne High School Class of 1987 with honors and was the class Salutatorian. He served an honorable mission for the LDS Church in the Chile Concepcion Mission from 1988 to 1990. He married Janelle Ann Jakoubek, September 4, 1992 in the Manti LDS Temple. Scott served as 2nd counselor in the Salt Lake City 12th Ward Bishopric. He graduated with honors from the University of Utah in 1995 in Mechanical Engineering. He was currently working on his Masters Degree.He is survived by his wife, Janelle; twin son and daughter, Kyle Robert and Rachel Ann Peterson; his parents, Kay and Gaylene Peterson, Loa; brothers and sisters, Jason and Kari Peterson, Birmingham, Alabama; Craig and Holly Peterson, Trena and Raymond Barlow, Daryl Peterson, all of Cedar City; Tasha and Gordon Birch, Helena, Montana; grandmothers, Theda Jane Peterson, Loa and Erma Moosman, Bicknell.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 10, 1996 at 1:30 p.m. in the Loa LDS Stake Tabernacle. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Wednesday eve. from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the tabernacle in Loa, Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Loa Cemetery.

Memorial services will be held in Salt Lake City on Friday, Oct. 11, 1996 at 6 p.m. in the Fairmont LDS Ward Chapel, 24665 So. 800 East, where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services. Funeral Directors: Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
