William C. Taylor, faithful husband and beloved father, passed away peacefully in his home this past November 11, 1996, at the age of 75.

Born in Oil City, Pennsylvania, in 1921, to William C. Taylor and Florence M. Redmond, Bill grew up in the depression, learning the values of hard work and a stable family.Married Eunice Jeanette Thompson on October 10, 1944. Bill served his country in World War II surviving the Battle of the Bulge, discharged in 1945, he served in the 76th Infantry Division and was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. After being discharged, Bill and Eunice moved to Salt Lake City to raise their family.

Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years, Eunice; three children, Alan (Colleen), Elena (Doug Ivy) and Kirk (Becky); by four grandchildren, Wendy, Rebecka, Alan Jr. and April; great-grandson, Brock; sisters, Isabell Hornburg and Betty Heck and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who all miss him dearly.

Bill was a 32nd degree Mason of Masonic Lodge, #252 in Olean, New York.

Bill retired as a Cost Estimator in October 1981, from UNISYS, where he made many friends by his outgoing personality and friendly manner.

He accomplished one of his life-long ambitions when he became published in Chip Chats National Wood Carvers Association Magazine. He spent many happy hours enjoying wood carving with his friends in the Utah Wood Carvers Association.

Visitation will be held at Evans and Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 So., in the chapel on Wednesday, Nov. 13th, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Evans and Early Mortuary in their chapel on Thursday, Nov. 14th, at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Utah Veteran's Memorial Park immediately after services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. or to the First United Methodist Church.
