Mildred Willis Snelders, 74, died November 13, 1996 in Provo.

Born August 15, 1922 in Cowley, Wyoming, to Lorum and Grace Maxwell Willis. She married John Woodrow Snelders in Cowley, Wyoming in 1941. Marriage solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in 1950. He died April 1, 1996. Mildred was raised in Cowley. She and John spent their first three years of marriage in Boston, returning to Cowley in 1944 to raise their family. Their last eight years were spent living with their daughter and family in Santaquin. She was employed by the North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell, Wyoming for over 40 years. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church. She loved the church, had a strong testimony and served diligently in many callings. She loved and was devoted to her family. They were her joy. Her every thought and prayer were directed toward them. She was a selfless mother and grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.She was known as Mid to all her friends and Millie to her "Boston Family". She will be remembered by her great love for everyone, her sense of humor and her indian fudge.

She is survived by a son, John W. (Bonnie) Snelders, Boise; a daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Lisa) Howard, Santaquin; daughter-in-law, Julia Rasmussen; grandchildren: John (Heather), Scott, Craig, Julie, Amy, and Krista Snelders; Kathleen and Eric Howard; a great grandson, John Paul; several nieces and nephews; a brother, Max (Alberta) Willis; and two sisters, Artie Green and Lola Tippets. Preceded in death by two daughters, Kathleen and Linda, and three sisters.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, 12 noon a.m in the Santaquin Stake Center, 90 South 200 East. Friends may call at Holladay Hills Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the Church one hour prior to services. Burial: Santaquin Cemetery.
