Norma Sessions Jackson passed away November 17, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah of natural causes, incident to age.

Born; September 2, 1906 in Ogden, Utah to Parley Pratt and Sarah Elizabeth Goddard Sessions.She was blessed to be born of significant pioneer heritage. Bountiful, Utah was originally named after her Grandfather Perrigrine Sessions, which was called "Sessions Settlement". Norma lived up to every expectation of her honored pioneer legacy.

Married; Floyd Clegg Jackson, August 15, 1930 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death by twenty four years. Also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald G. Sessions and a sister, Florence Sessions Parry.

Norma Jackson was an accomplished leader. She served the LDS Church in many Ward and Stake capacities, including President of the Relief Society for many years.

Norma was an accomplished seamstress and artist. She made many beautiful quilts, porcelain figurines and excelled in other artistic achievements. Norma was an excellent and loving Mother and Grandmother. She was a kind and loving neighbor and friend to everyone she met.

Survived by two daughters, Marylyn Jackson Midgley (Eugene L. "Ted") and Karen Kay Jackson Beck (Fred E.) of Salt Lake City, eleven grandchildren and thirty three great grandchildren, two sisters, Lucille Sessions Van Dyke and Arleen Sessions (Jack) Dockter of Ogden, Utah.

Her family loves her very much and will miss her kind and loving face in their lives each week. They await with firm belief that there will be a grand reunion in the life hereafter.

The family would especially like to thank all of the wonderful people at the Fay Case Care Center who helped with their Mother's loving care during her last few weeks.

Services to be held in the LDS Imperial 2nd Ward located at 1560 Atkin Avenue in Salt Lake City, Friday, November 22nd at 12 noon. Friends and neighbors may call on the family at the Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Thursday, November 21st from 6 to 8 p.m. and during the hour prior to the service at the Ward House. Interment will be at the "Larkin Sunset Gardens" 10600 South 1700 East in Sandy City, Utah.
