Visitors to This Is The Place State Park can enjoy a candlelight Christmas celebration complete with horse-drawn sleigh rides through Old Deseret Village during many December evenings.
The park, 2601 Sunnyside Ave., will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 13, 14, 16-21, 27 and 28. Village homes and businesses will showcase pioneer-era Christmas preparations.Entrance fees are $5 for adults, $2 for senior citizens and $2 for children ages 3 to 11. Groups of 15 or more that pay before Dec. 11 will be charged $3 per person, or $4 per person after that date.
