Now I know what's wrong with those two people in the White House in Washington. The elected one thinks that by bashing Utah for not supporting him and by courting environmentalists, he is Teddy Roosevelt. He certainly hasn't seen enough of our state, or he would know this is no Yellowstone country. And his wife communes with Eleanor Roosevelt and Gandhi. They grew up in the age of time machine and science fiction shows, so they believe anything is possible if you push the right buttons and say the right incantations. The fact that he fooled enough people to get elected would make a believer out of anyone.
The sad part of it is, like the villain in the movies, he uses his presidential power as a big stick and walks silently, committing his little dirty tricks, and Dole is afraid to make it an issue. Of course it's an issue. Like the mad scientist, he thinks no one can see through him, so he will keep on doing it into the next century, if we let him. Let's turn off the film.
