Loving husband, father, and grandfather, Keith Raymond Nelson, age 73, died December 15, 1996 in a Salt Lake hospital.

Born July 27, 1923 in Bountiful, Utah to Waldo Peterson and Myrtle Stella Kensler Nelson. Married Madelene Mayo April 18, 1943; she died in 1950. Married Shirley Mauren Egli; later divorced. Married Gerry McEwen Baker in November, 1976.Member of the LDS Church. Veteran of World War II. In his younger years, established his own band. He loved horses and country music. He was a master electrician and owned AAA Electric. He was also a master movie projectionist following in his father's footsteps in the projectionist union.

Survivors: wife; children, Larry Dean, Debra (Scott) Meyers, Pam (Greg) Hubbell, David Keith, James Theodore; step children, Richard (Barbara) Baker, Mike (Laura) Baker, Wendy (Phil) Davies, Bonnie (Sean) Higham; 24 grandchildren; sister, Ruth Anderson. Preceded in death by brother, James Nelson and sister, Marion King.

Funeral services Thursday, 1 p.m. at the Union Fort 5th Ward, 6770 South 500 East. Friends may call Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, and Thursday, at the church, one hour prior to service.

Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
