Melvin Jay Dutson, 73, of Provo, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, completed his earthly mission on November 30, 1996, due to a brain hemorrhage.
Jay was born on November 10, 1923 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Benjamin Jay and Edna Mae Danner Dutson. He married his eternal sweetheart, Helen Snow on October 20, 1948 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, four daughters, one foster daughter and their families, a brother and a sister.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 4, 1996 at 11 a.m. at the Edgemont 2nd Ward Chapel, 555 East 3230 North, Provo. Friends may call Tuesday, December 3, from 6-8 p.m. at Berg Mortuary, 185 East Center St., Provo and one hour prior to services at the church.
