Our loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Fernando Paredes, age 40, died December 23, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Born June 24, 1956 in Salt Lake City, son of Fernando J. and Celia Zizumbo Paredes. Married Loretta Romero, November 24, 1979 in Midvale. Fernando worked as a miner and he loved the outdoors and restoring cars. He loved his children, nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Fernando's friends in Las Vegas.Survivors: wife, Loretta; daughters, Veronica and April Paredes, all of Las Vegas; parents, Fernando Paredes and Celia Zizumbo, both of Mexico; brothers, Cesar (Laura) Paredes, West Valley; Butte Paredes, Murray; Brazil (Lourdes) Paredes, and Jesse Paredes, both of Las Vegas; sisters, Veronica (Pete) Trujillo, Magna; Maria Paredes, West Valley; Sidney (Tino) Lucero, West Jordan; Perla Peredes, Las Vegas. Also many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 11 a.m. at St. Therese's Catholic Church, 122 South Allen Street, Midvale. Friends may call Sunday, 5-7 p.m. at McDougal West Jordan Mortuary, 1861 West 7800 South, where the Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7 p.m. Committal services will be in the West Jordan City Cemetery.
