Harold Ballard Richardson, 81, passed away February 13, 1996.

Born March 6, 1914 in Garfield, Utah, to Harold Darwin and Abbie Ballard Richardson. Married Elizabeth (Beth) Brewster; later divorced. Married Ellen P. Barrett, June 26, 1939 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Employed as a tool grinder, woodsman and dairyman, and worked for EIMCO, General Motors-EMD, Interstate Motor Lines, Kennecott, Sweet Candy Co., Sears, Hi-Land Dairy, and Safeway. Active member of LDS Church, High Priest group leader, Sunday School president, ward clerk, stake missionary, ward choir and ward Young Men presidency. Student Body president, Cyprus High School 1931-32; president, Olympus Male Chorus; Tabernacle Choir member.Survived by wife; children, Nancyann (James) Athay, Mapleton, Utah; Louise (Carl) Gustafson, Miami, Florida; Harold (Carol) Richardson, Jackson, Wyoming; John (Maud) Richardson, Sandy, Utah; Karen (Gill) Charlesworth, Phoenix, Ariz.; Jeanne (Gary) Van Roosendaal, Salt Lake City; Faye Richardson, Zanzibar, Africa; brother, Shirl (June) Richardson, Orem, Utah; sister, Farol Jackson, Taylorsville; 30 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 17, 1996, 12 noon at Cottonwood 16th Ward Chapel, 1750 E. Spring Lane. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street and Saturday 11-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
