So, here comes Hootie & the Blowfish with its own Breaking Records. The label will seek groups from the Southeast that spend a lot of time on the road.The South Carolina-based Hootie, currently recording a new album in Los Angeles with producer Don Gehman for spring release, is breaking records of its own. "Cracked Rear View" is about 2 million copies shy of being named the largest-selling debut disc ever.
