Brenda Hutchings Haight, 33, died February 25, 1996, West Jordan, Utah.
Born June 10, 1962, Salt Lake City, Utah to Dr. Larry Theron Hutchings and Beverly Anderson. Married Gordon M. Haight II, Jordan River Temple, May 20, 1983. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and sister, taught home school to her sons, was a beautiful singer, played organ and piano, painted and loved to read. She served as Primary President, PTA Safety Chairperson, and many other church callings, sewed, quilted, did needlepoint and was a fantastic cook.She graduated with a B.S. from BYU in Financial and Estate Planning, donated many charitable hours to the community, school, neighborhood, church and family.
Survived by husband, Gordon M. Haight II; five sons, Gordon Marsh III, Todd Andrew, Philip Chauncey, Mark Golden and Russell Joseph; parents, Dr. Larry T. and Beverly A. Hutchings; brother, David (Angella) Hutchings; sisters, Sheri (Jeff) Asay, Suzie (Jeff) Wilson, Diana (Danny) Newell and Charlene (Ken) Basinger; grandparents, Mayor Theron B. and Vida Hutchings.
Funeral services Friday, March 1, 12 noon, West Jordan LDS Stake Center, 7000 South 2700 West. Friends may call Thursday 6-9 p.m., Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, and Friday 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the church.
Interment, South Jordan City Cemetery.
