Betty Crocker says her new, Pop-Secret popcorn gives a jumbo pop. This premium microwave popcorn comes in "movie theater butter" and "butter." The 10.5-ounce box holds three packets of popcorn and retails for $2.19.

Don Russell (married, five children at home, ages 6-16): "Our butter-flavored Pop-Secret yielded no surprises. The resultant popcorn was large, salty, satisfying and tasty. This premium microwave popcorn was a crowd-pleaser at our house. The three bags were eyed, popped and consumed in just a matter of moments. It's too bad that the oils and salt added to the bags don't come from the very top of the healthy-foods list."Edyth Jensen (married, three children at home): "We tried the `butter' flavor and enjoyed eating the large, fluffy kernels. The best thing I found about this brand isn't the size of the popped kernels but that it didn't leave a greasy feeling in my mouth."

Nihla Lake (married, two children at home): "To really give this `movie theater butter' popcorn a true test, we popped a video (I think it was `Jeremiah Johnson' with Robert Redford) into the VCR and nuked a bag in the micro. We weren't disappointed - the movie was great and the jumbo popcorn lived up to its claims: `Big Kernels - Big Taste.' It was tender and tasty. Excellent popcorn."

Linda C. Tingey (single mother, two teenage boys at home): "My boys are not big fans of microwave popcorn, they'd rather make their own. But we'll still give it a good review. They had dates over to watch videos and they liked it. It is a lot nicer, a lot fluffier than regular microwave popcorn. It was quick and convenient. Whoever buys this will enjoy it."

Rich Firmage (married, four children, oldest 10 years old): "This stuff is great, and do you know why? It has a lot of fat in it and it costs a lot. Then again, it is a snack. We eat popcorn all the time and most of the time it is microwave popcorn. This stuff is better than any I've tasted. We will most likely buy this again - but not too often."

Bill Allred (single): "This particular microwave popcorn promised to pop larger kernels of popcorn than other brands and it did live up to that promise. The popcorn was big, fluffy and tasty as well, with perhaps a bit too much salt. Also, I like that it seems to take less time to pop than many other microwave brands because when you gotta have popcorn, you don't want to waste one precious minute. I would buy this stuff again."

Conclusion: Betty Crocker's claims are not a lot of hot air. Microwave a package and find out for yourself - this is fluffy, tasty popcorn.
