Funeral services for Glen William Crump, a former member of the Utah House of Representatives and Riverton postmaster will be Tuesday. Mr. Crump died Friday at age 79 at his home in Bluffdale.
The services will be at 11 a.m. in the Bluffdale LDS 2nd Ward, 14400 S. Redwood Road. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 S. 2200 West, Riverton, and at the church an hour before services Tuesday. Burial will be in the Bluffale Cemetery.Mr. Crump was born in Bluffdale and attended Jordan District schools. He was an electrical shovel operator for Kennecott Copper Corp., was active in the Lions Club and the Democratic Party. He was a district chairman for 10 years and served two terms in the Legislature. He was appointed postmaster by President John F. Kennedy.
