Christopher Paul Anderson, age 25, died Thursday, March 28, 1996 at LDS Hospital of injuries sustained in a traffic accident.

Born August 18, 1970 in Salt Lake City, Christopher grew up in the Puget Sound area of Washington State. He loved the mountains and water and spent his youth skiing, sailing, hiking and camping with his family and many friends. He graduated from North Kitsap High School in Poulsbo, Washington, and attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. He served a mission for the LDS Church in Western Australia. After his mission, Christopher married his best friend and sweetheart, Gina Saccon in the Seattle, Washington Temple. The young couple spent their short married life in Provo, where their daughter, Lara, was born. In 1995, Christopher received his B.S. from BYU in Manufacturing Engineering Technology. He will receive his Master's in Technical Management posthumously in August. Chris was a member of Tau Alpha Phi and was elected president of SAMPE by his fellow engineering students.Chris was an energetic and talented young man who accomplished much in his short life; but he will be remembered most for the friendship and kindness he extended to everyone with whom he associated. His helpful, easy and loving nature will be greatly missed. Christopher cherished his wife and baby and was devoted to his parents.

In addition to his wife, Gina and baby daughter, Lara, he is survived by his parents, John and Pat Anderson, of Kingston, Washington; his sisters, Amee Lowell and Sunny Anderson; his brothers, John, who is serving a mission in Mexico, and Kesley, age 11; and his grandparents, Norman and Betty Elkins, of Bountiful; and Leon Anderson, of Salt Lake City.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30 at BYU 110th Ward, South Chapel, 1600 North 900 East, Provo.
