Marlowe Lewis Taylor, age 57, passed away April 10, 1996, in Provo, Utah.
Marlowe was born, a twin, February 16, 1939, in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the son of John Whitaker and Grace Bernice Lewis Taylor. Lived in Green River, Wyoming where he attended Green River High School, then graduated from East High in 1957, after the family moved to Salt Lake City. Attended University of Utah and Brigham Young University. Faithful member of the LDS Church, serving in several capacities. Fulfilled a mission in the Gulf States, 1959-1961. Married to Diane Bartholomew, in the Manti LDS Temple in 1970.Survivors include his father, two sons and two daughters, Wendy (Wes) Cluff, Karen Taylor, both Salt Lake City; Wade Taylor, Logan; Kevin Taylor, Springville; two grandchildren, Cristina and Nic; one brother and three sisters, J. Lewis (Jon) Taylor, Salt Lake City; Ann (Dick) Vehar, Pueblo, Colo.; Marlene (Ron) Herrick, Mesa, Ariz.; Ida Jean (Joseph Kay) Brooks, Mapleton. Preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 13, 1996, 12 noon, at the East Mill Creek 16th Ward, 3408 South Celeste Way (3075 East), where friends may call at the church from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens. Funeral directors: The Holbrook Funeral Chapel.
