Bad driving record? The Utah Safety Council will offer an eight-hour course that will knock 50 points off drivers' records.

The course is designed to teach reactions to bad weather, rush-hour traffic, sharing the road with other cars, cyclists and pedestrians. Individuals 55 and older may qualify for insurance discounts after completing the course.Registration is $20 per person or $7 for those older than 55 who are trying to lower their insurance rates. Instruction will be held at the Cedar Park Business Complex. For information call 262-5482.
