- CALL FOR ENTRIES
The Old Capitol Centennial Fine Art Show announces a call for entries for their 1st Annual Juried Fine Art Show. Open to all Utah artists 18 and over who have completed work within the last two years. All two-dimensional media, except photography, will be excepted. The Salt Lake Public Library announces that entries are being accepted through April 10 for those wishing to exhibit in the Salt Lake City Public Library System. Artists interested should contact the library at 524-8200 for more information. Also, the library system will be opening a new branch library on the Jordan River Parkway, and will be accepting entries for an exhibit on the theme of the river. Entries must also be in by April 10. The 1996 Asian Festival announces a call for entries in their annual festival exhibit. Entries should emphasize the "Year of the Rat." The Salt Lake Gallery Association announces a call for entries contest to design a new "Salt Lake Gallery Association" logo. The contest is open to all Utah artists and first-, second- and third-place winners will receive prizes. Entries must be received by April 23.
