Our loving husband and father, Daniel Feil, returned to his Heavenly Father on April 7, 1996, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born February 16, 1922 in Salt Lake City to Paul and Dora Frieda Wilhelmina Heimberg Feil. Married Lillian Annie Benson on March 5, 1942, Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church residing in the Rose Park Stake where he served in various callings including bishop, member of High Council, and temple worker. U.S Navy veteran of World War II. He worked as an upholsterer for over 45 years. He was an avid reader and his life interests centered in his family and church.Survived by his wife, Lillian; sons, Dan T., Thomas A., Randall S., and Kerry D.; daughters, Shelley Astle, Wendy Gray, and Janice; one sister, Louise Frohm; 31 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; three brothers, Paul, Gordon, and Enoch; a sister, Elsa Neumann; and a son-in-law, Dennis Astle.
Funeral services Thursday, April 11, at 12 Noon, Rose Park 10th Ward Chapel, 760 North 1200 West Street. Friends and family may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m. and at the Ward on Thursday, 10:45-11:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
