Utah C.V. Federal Credit Union has changed its name to Utah First Credit Union to reflect a local attitude and putting members first, according to Darin Moody, president and chief executive officer.

The credit union was founded July 23, 1935, by 10 members with $115 in assets to assist members in pooling funds to help family members move from Germany to Utah. Utah First Credit Union now has three locations, 12,000 members and $58 million in assets.
