Motorists will be able to travel a little faster legally on 14 more stretches of state and federal highways.
The Idaho Transportation Board, continuing its review of speed limits on Idaho's 5,000-mile highway system, on Friday approved more speed limit changes. Limits on 600 miles of major highways and the 614 miles of interstate routes were increased in April.Speed limits went from 55 mph to 65 mph on segments of U.S. highways 20, 26 and 93. Limits also went up on Idaho 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 28, 33, 46, 50, 75, 77 and 81.
The board also voted to revoke its previous decision allowing speeds of 65 mph on I-184, the Boise Connector.
