Nevon Olsen Eberhard slipped away, quietly, while she slept on May 12, 1996 in Centerville.

She was born in Provo, Utah on December 31, 1911 to John Taylor and Zina May Johnson Olsen. She was raised in Spring Canyon and Provo, Utah. She married Ernest Eberhard, Jr. on January 9, 1934 in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1988.She lived in Preston, Idaho for 26 years, where she lovingly supported her husband and enjoyed creating a loving home for her six children. They moved to Springville, Utah in 1960 and then to Centerville in 1970.

They were later called to preside over the Oregon Portland Mission. They served there for two years and then answered a call to organize the new Idaho Pocatello Mission. The following year they established the first ever full-time mission in the State of Utah.

She loved being a homemaker and always took great pride in making her home beautiful and well decorated. Nevon was a faithful member of the LDS Church all of her life and served willingly in many callings. She always considered being a loving mother her highest calling.
