Peter Grant Christofferson, 88, died Sunday, June 23, 1996 at the home of his son, Kenneth, in Lehi.
Born March 28, 1908 in Lehi, the son of AndrewPeter and Sophia Fredrika Wahlgren Christofferson. Married Jean Fowler June 26, 1940 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died October 21, 1991.
He served as bishop, patriarch and temple worker for the LDS Church. He was employed as manager of the Chipman Farm Implement Division in American Fork for several years.
Survived by five sons and one daughter, Gary Grant (Frankie), Kenneth F. (Leslie), Keith Lynn (Jeana), Neil A (Suzanne), all of Lehi; Dale Niron (Beverly), Elkridge, Utah; and Shirlee Jean (David) Hansen of Bountiful; 22 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mia Storrs of American Fork.
Funeral services Thursday, June 27, 1996 at 11 a.m. in the Lehi North Stake Center, 900 No. 1200 East. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at the Lehi 8th Ward Chapel, 145 East 1500 No., Lehi, and at the North Stake Center Thursday 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Burial in the Lehi City Cemetery.
