"Bumpa", we will miss you. Bill passed away peacefully at home June 25, 1996.
Born in Bingham Canyon June 30, 1899, to Ammon and Mary Stringham. Married to Elva Nicholson for 58 years, his one and only sweetheart. She died in 1977. Bill was always cheerful and had a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed his family and loved them dearly. Bill retired from Cummins Intermountain Diesel at the age of 72. After retirement he enjoyed traveling.Survived by a daughter, Mary Jane Jensen, eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; four brothers and sisters, Madge Huffman, Golda Andersen, Bud Stringham, and Frank Stringham. Preceded in death by his daughter, Neva Beth Winkel.
Bill's remains were donated to the University of Utah for research. Those desiring may send donations in Bill's name to the University of Utah, Dept. of Neurobiology and Anatomy.
