Soap opera heartthrob Keith Hamilton Cobb, who plays fiery Noah Keefer on ABC's "All My Children," gets hundreds of letters each month from viewers in love with his beefy good looks and long dreadlocks.

Some of those adoring fans might be surprised to learn Cobb wasn't always a hunk.At Sleepy Hollow High School in Tarrytown, N.Y., the strapping 6-foot-4-inch actor was, "tall, skinny and kind of strange-looking and no coordination, and horrible at everything," he says in the July 22 issue of People magazine.

Things changed for Cobb, 34, about the time he started studying drama in college.

"I came into my sexuality, my strength, my size, my manhood," he says.
