Doris W. Morehouse, age 73, died July 27, 1996 at East Lake Care Center in Provo of natural causes.
She was born July 3, 1923 in Lehi, Utah to Ephriam and Thelma Serena McKinney Walters. Married Frank C. Morehouse, May 19, 1945 in San Francisco, California. Marriage later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple.Doris lived most of her life in Fairfield, Utah where she was a homemaker and raised her family. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served as Primary President and a teacher in the Primary, MIA, and Sunday School.
She later worked in civil service at Tooele Army Depot where she retired and the past few years has resided at Stonewood Manor in Orem.
Survived by two sons and two daughters, Gerald (Joan) Morehouse, Lehi; John (Linda) Morehouse, Flintstone, Georgia; Linda Brooks, Sandy; Peggy (Pat) Patterson, Ashville, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Louise (R.M.) Corona, Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by two bothers, Lavell and Calvin Walters.
Funeral, Tuesday, July 30, 1996 at 11 a.m. in the Cedar Valley LDS Chapel, friends may call Monday at the Wing Mortuary, Lehi, from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment at the Fairfield Cemetery.
