More than 2,000 people are expected to attend Payson's annual Salmon Supper, scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Payson's Memorial Park.

This traditional evening of food and live entertainment has been held every summer for more than 40 years.The fire department will block off the street next to the park and turn it into a giant barbecue pit. Thousands of pounds of fresh salmon will be flown in from Alaska and cooked over fruit wood fires and served with corn on the cob and other homemade foods.
