Edna Nancy Durfee Maxfield, 77, born to David Franklin Durfee and Nancy Elen Hunt, September 21, 1918, died in Reno, Nevada on July 3, 1996
Married Grant LaMar Maxfield on July 20, 1938 in the Manti LDS Temple. Five children were born to this union: Yvonne (Dennis) McCarty, Sparks, Nev.; Frank LaMar Maxfield (Deanna), Downingtown, Penn.; Gloria (Charles) Harris, Sparks, Nev.; Trudy (Richard) Curtis, Tooele; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; sister, Nila Kiesel, Manti. She was preceded in death by husband; son, Byron Grant; great grandson, Joshua Nathaniel Curtis; parents, three brothers and three sisters.She was active in the LDS Church and held various positions. She held many leadership positions in the community.
Funeral services Saturday, July 6th, at Tooele 15th Ward, 10 a.m. with viewing one hour prior. Viewing also at Tate Mortuary, 6-8 p.m. Friday. Graveside Services and Burial will be at Lyman, Wayne County, Utah, at 3 p.m.
