Craig James Cloward, age 43, died Sunday, August 25, 1996 at his home in Spanish Fork.

He was born March 1, 1953 in Spanish Fork, to Mary Monk and Gordon L. Cloward. He married Christine (Teena) Creer, June 28, 1975 in Spanish Fork. Their marriage was solemnized May 4, 1996 in the Provo LDS Temple.He attended schools in the Spanish Fork area and was graduated from Spanish Fork High School. He was a carpenter by profession and worked for Mitchel Real Estate Construction, Cloward Construction and for the last three years, Nebo School District. He owned and operated "C.J. Sharp Tooth Saws". His civic activities include Captain in the Spanish Fork City Fire Department, which he has served on over 22 years. Served on the Board of Adjustment. Member of the LDS Church, served as an elder and enjoyed meeting with the quorum each Sunday. He enjoyed camping and hunting and being with his family.

Surviving are his wife, of Spanish Fork; two sons and one daughter, Ben James, Kevin Jay and Jodi Cloward, all of Spanish Fork; two brothers and one sister, Dennis M. Cloward, Casper, Wyoming; Larry G. Cloward, Salt Lake; Lynnette Diamond, Spanish Fork; his parents, Mary and Gordon Cloward, of Spanish Fork.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 28, 11 a.m. in the Spanish Fork West LDS Stake Center, 360 North 650 West. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary of Spanish Fork, Tuesday evening 6-8 p.m. and at the church Wednesday, one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.

The family wish to thank Drs. Bott and Ross and staffs, for the care given during Craig's illness.
