In Sweden for a conference on the sexual exploitation of children, Roger Moore says he was a victim himself.

"I was molested when I was a child - not seriously - but I didn't tell my mother until I was 16, because I felt that it was something to be ashamed of," the 68-year-old actor said Tuesday in an interview with APTV. "I felt I had done something wrong. I had done absolutely nothing wrong at all."Moore, best known for his film roles as James Bond, attended the World Congress Against Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children as the UNICEF good-will ambassador.

"What we have to do, is we have to eliminate the feelings of guilt from a child - that they are responsible, that they're doing the wrongdoing," he said. "They're being exploited. We have to tell them that."
