Gunfire claimed the life of a West Valley man Sunday.
Police said Roberto Huerta, 38, died after being shot in the back near 1850 West and 3300 South. Officers responded to the shooting about 11:20 p.m.Huerta was shot after two groups of men reportedly argued and guns were drawn.
Police took four men into custody in the shooting, but no charges have been filed. Officers continued to look for the victim's brother, who they believe witnessed the shooting.

The slaying marks the first homicide in West Valley City this year. Four people were murdered in the city in 1995, down two from the previous year.
