John Lithgow and the other amiable aliens from NBC's "Third Rock From the Sun" will offer an explanation for the latest news of life on Mars in a new episode.
Lithgow, who plays the head of the alien family, will chastise the others after the family watches a NASA briefing on television about the discovery of fossil evidence of ancient Martian life, publicist Lorena Beniquez said."The next time we have a picnic on another planet, clean up!" Lithgow tells his family on the episode, which will air Sept. 22.
