The McCurdy Doll Museum is celebrating "Back to School Days" during September. An exhibit of famous children's books, "Pages of Enchantment," along with dolls from the books will be highlighted throughout the month.
The rare children's books are from the private collection of Charlene and Brent Ashworth, famous Utah collectors of historical documents and artifacts. Some of the books date from the 1800's and are autographed by the original authors.On Saturday, Sept. 21, at 1:30 p.m. Charlene Ashworth will present a program on early children's literature and books. Her stories will be followed by a tea party in the "Secret Garden."
Admission for the special event is $3 for adults and $1.50 for children under 12.
