The Great Salt Lake Audubon Society will lead a field trip Sunday, Sept. 15, to Squaw Mountain, east of Provo, to watch migrating hawks.

The event is open to the public. Those interested should meet at the Sugarhouse Garden Center, 1650 E. 2100 South, at 8 a.m. for a car pool.The Audubon Society's general meeting will be Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 7:30 p.m., also at the Sugarhouse Garden Center. Penny Ciak will give a slide presentation on her experiences as a volunteer with EarthWatch in the forests of Mexico.

The society is also taking orders for black-oiled sunflower seeds. The cost is $22 for each 50-pound bag of seeds. Call 355-0350 for more information.
