Actress-dancer Juliet Prowse is losing her battle with pancreatic cancer.

"She's undergone chemotherapy, and that destroyed her kidneys. She's now at home resting," Mark Mordoh, her manager of 30 years, said Thursday.Prowse turns 60 on Sept. 25. "I keep telling her to hang on for her birthday," Mordoh said.

Prowse was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer two years ago, but last year it was in remission and she was well enough to perform in Las Vegas, her manager said. The disease has spread in the past few months.
