Nebraska linebacker Terrell Farley, a mainstay of the defending national champion's defense, will sit out at least two games because of an arrest on a drunken driving charge.

Coach Tom Osborne said that although Farley will be allowed to practice, his future with the team is uncertain."He's been suspended and it will be a minimum of two games, more likely three and possibly permanent," Osborne said Saturday. "It just depends. Obviously it was a very, very disappointing thing to have happen."

Nebraska , seeking an unprecedented third consecutive national title, opens the season at home Saturday against Michigan State.

Osborne indicated Ryan Terwilliger would probably start against Michigan State.

"I'm not going to put him back on the field if I feel he still has a problem that hasn't been addressed," Osborne said.
