Jean Tanner, principal broker and owner of Summit Realty, has been named the 1996 Realtor of the Year in Utah by the Women's Council of Realtors. The award was presented during the group's annual convention in Sun Valley.

Tanner has been a licensed agent since 1982 and a broker since 1986. She is a multimillion-dollar producer, a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Club and a Gold Master Realtor.In addition to receiving the 1992 Utah County Realtor of the Year Award from the Women's Council of Realtors, Tanner is the only Realtor in Utah County to receive the Distinguished Service Award from the Utah County Association of Realtors.
