John Tice had 14 points and teammates Didier Boucard and Brent Wall chipped in 12 each to help Fairfield cruise to a 78-51 win over a poor-shooting Southern Utah University Tuesday at the Centrum.
The loss was the seventh straight for Southern Utah, which ties for the second-longest losing streak since SUU joined the NCAA's Division I nine years ago.Southern Utah shot just 27 percent in the game, going seven-for-24 in the first half. Forward Tarvish Felton led SUU with 14 points on the night. He was the only Thunderbird in double figures.
The Stags, meantime, shot 56 percent in the first half to take a 34-16 lead at the break.
