Mary "Tootsie" Ujifusa was born in Mutual, Utah on January 14, 1933. She fought cancer since December of 1995. She passed away on January 10, 1997 in Holladay, Utah. She was our wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Ujifusa, of 42 years; oldest sister, Sego Matsumiya; daughter, Christi and son-in-law, Stewart Sturgeon of Bountiful; son, Darin Ujifusa of Verona, Italy; son, Todd Ujifusa and daughter-in-law Terri of Seattle; and five grandchildren, Dana-Lynn, Alex, Maria, Felicia and Anna.Services will be held at the Japanese Church of Christ, 268 West 100 South, on Thursday, January 16th, at 12 noon, under direction of Larkin Mortuary.
