Our loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend, Laverne Amos, age 45, passed away January 18, 1997, at her home in Kearns.
Born March 24, 1951, in Springville, AZ., daughter of John Franklin and Grace Laney Derrick. Married Donnie Lee Amos June 1, 1976, in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple. Member of the LDS Church. She lived in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Texas and Utah. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ.Survived by her husband, Donnie; sons, Anthony Shane and Timothy Ryan Amos, all of Kearns; daughters, Grace Rachele Bottenfield, Arlington, TX., Leiloni Chantelle McDonald; mother; brother, Robert Derrick; sisters, Ann Hooser and Karen Warner; five grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be Tues., 2 p.m. in Luna, New Mexico. Local arrangements under the direction of McDougal West Jordan Mortuary.
