Frederick Otto Boehme, age 90, passed away January 27, 1997 following a lengthy illness.

Born March 4, 1906 in Geneva, Bear Lake County, Idaho to Frederick Arno and Anna Hansen Boehme. Married Retta Thompson on June 12, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was employed by the Kennecott Corp. as a locomotive engineer. Fred was a High Priest in the Murray 21st Ward, serving as executive secretary to four bishops, as a faithful home teacher and as a sealing proxy at the Jordan River Temple for many years.Survived by wife, Murray; daughters, Yvonne (Reid) Hayward and Myrtle (Emmett) Greenwell, nine grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; brother, David and five sisters, Louise Aposhian, Martha Mackey, Rosalind Wixom, Eva Llewellyn and Esther Hines. Preceded in death by infant daughter, Letty; parents and nine brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb 1st, 1997, 10:30 a.m., Murray 21st Ward, 6100 So. 10 West. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at the church. Interment: Sunset Gardens.
