Alton Franklin Hatch, beloved and devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather, age 75, passed away peacefully January 1, 1997 in St. George, Utah.

Frank was born October 21, 1921 in Panguitch, Utah to John F. and Grace Schow Hatch. He served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corp and was honorably discharged. He married Joyce Grant and was later divorced. Married his sweetheart of 45 years, Juanita Sue Wilson on August 15, 1952. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple.Frank worked and was a prominent figure in the insulation business in the Salt Lake area for 30 years and had many, many friends.

Active member of the LDS Church in the Cottonwood 2nd Ward for 30 years before retiring to St. George, Utah. Recent member of the St. George Riverbend Ward.

Frank is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Juanita; seven children, Sylvia Dominguez, Mary, Carolyn (Will Norgard), Fran Meechan, Bruce (JoAnn), Gary (Mary Ann), 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, one brother, one sister and a son, Wayne Hatch.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 6, 1997, 11 a.m., at the LDS Riverbend Ward Chapel, 2583 East 350 North, St. George. Visitation will be Sunday 6-7 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 300 St. George Blvd. and Monday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to service. Interment in the Panguitch City Cemetery at 3 p.m. Monday under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary.
