Ruth Moffitt Bernardi, age 96, passed away on October 20, 1997 in Ogden, Utah.
She was born January 22, 1901 in Manti, Utah and was the daughter of Spencer and Lydia Jensen Moffitt. Married Nick Bernardi, May 28, 1917. He preceded her in death. Ruth was a longtime resident of Price, Utah, where she taught for 40 years in the local school system. In recent years she has lived in Manti, Salt Lake City and Ogden, Utah.She is survived by: two nieces, Carolyn R. Ogden, Ogden; Marilynne Moffitt, Salt Lake City; nephew, Don W. Reid, Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Services for Ruth are being conducted in accordance with her wishes. Friends may call at Mitchell Funeral Home, 233 East Main St., in Price, Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be Friday, October 24, 1997, 11 a.m. at the Manti City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made in Ruth's name to the American Cancer Society.
