Deron A. Dickmann, died Friday, Oct. 24, 1997 following a courageous struggle due to complications with leukemia.
Born November 27, 1965 in Covington, Kentucky to Roselene L. (Rice) Douglass and Paul J. Dickmann. He graduated from Highland High School (Salt Lake) and served an LDS Church mission to London, England. Upon returning he sang with the Mormon Youth Chorus.He attended the University of Utah where he studied psychology and was also an alumni member of Sigma Gamma Chi fraternity.
He is survived by his mother, Roselene Douglass of Ogden, Utah; father, Paul Dickmann (Connie) of Kentucky; grandmother, Eva Dickmann of Kentucky; three brothers, Douglas Dickmann (Carrie); David Dickmann (Kim) both of Kentucky; Dale Dickmann (Leah), Hooper, Utah; stepbrother, Justin Crigler (Genny) of Kentucky; four nephews, six nieces, and his dog, Quincy. Three grandparents, stepfather, Larrie Douglass and brother, Randall preceded him in death.
Deron wishes to thank the Oncology nurses at LDS Hospital and especially Dr. William Reilly and his nurse, Cara and Hospice Care nurse, Janet. A very special thank you to his friend Amber.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 27, 1997 at 11 a.m. at the Monument Park 4th Ward, 2215 Roosevelt Ave. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, and at the ward on Monday one hour prior to service.
Interment, Washington Heights Memorial Park Cemetery, Ogden, Utah.
