Our loving sweet Mindy returned to her Heavenly Father November 12, 1997 from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Born March 31, 1973, Mindy's life touched all those she knew with compassion and love. She was employed at the Utah State Tax Commission and was a substitute teacher for Utah and Juab counties. She was one semester away from graduating with a degree in Child Psychology. She then planned to help youth as she has done all her life. She loved hunting, fishing and especially riding horses and roping. She was an active member of the US Team Roping Assn., Spanish Fork Roping Club and an honorary FFA member. A member of the LDS Church, she truly loved the Lord.Survived by her mother, Kathy Elton; father, Verl (Sherrie) Ahlstrom, brothers, Griffin (Amy) Ahlstrom, and Nathan Anderson; grandmothers, Peggy Elton (Louis-deceased); Elaine Ahlstrom (Keith-deceased); three uncles, an aunt, and 11 cousins.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 15, 1997 at 12 noon in the Genola LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Holladay Hills Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment, Goshen City Cemetery.
Too perfect to remain in mortality, Mindy once again chose to move to a higher glory to progress and excel. We love you and miss you Mindy!
