Howa Construction Inc., 663 W. 100 South, has been awarded an $11 million contract to build a 136,788-square-foot state library for the blind and visually impaired at North Temple and I-215. It will be completed in fall 1998.

The project was designed by Brixen & Christopher Architects, Salt Lake City, and will be owned and administered by the Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management.
