Alice Boden Lybbert returned home on Saturday, November 1, 1997. She is now with the loved ones who have preceded her.

Alice was born on July 7, 1910, to Wallace and Ruby Boden of Salt Lake City. She attended the LDS High School and the University of Utah. She married Evert D. (Hap) Lybbert on November 12, 1940.Always active in the LDS Church, Alice had many callings. Alice affected many young lives while teaching elementary school and a private kindergarten for Lottie MacKay. She loved to paint and sew, but what she loved most was being with her family. Alice was a friend to all and was loved by all who knew her. Alice and her husband, Hap, moved to Bloomington, Utah, in the early 1970's where they enjoyed golf, family and friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her sons, Dan (Jacquie) Lybbert, Richard (Sheryl) Lybbert; her daughter, Susan (James) Smith; seven grandchildren (Jason, Rick, Lisa, Adam, Micha, Tiffany, Jarom) and by her sister, Mary Durham.

The family would like to thank the care givers of the Garden Terrace Alzheimer Center for the loving and tender care given to Alice at the end of her life.

Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, Monday, Nov. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. or at the East Millcreek 11th Ward, 27th East and Evergreen Avenue (3435 So.) on Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m., prior to the funeral at 1 p.m.
