The state Supreme Court has censured a Children's Court judge for telling dirty and anti-Semitic jokes and making sexist comments to other court members.

Michael Martinez has stepped down as presiding judge of the Children's Court, as ordered in the Oct. 10 ruling that also placed him on six months of supervised probation.The Supreme Court also ordered him to take continuing judicial education courses on gender-bias sensitivity and interpersonal communications.

And the Supreme court ordered him to send letters of apology to the offended parties.
